MEN AND MOTORS TV COVERAGE

The Clio Cup Scholarship races on to your TV screen through the Entertainment channel, Men and Motors, Sky channel 131, and Virgin Media channel 286.

The 2007 Clio Cup Scholarship and behind the scenes television programmes give you a great insight into what it takes to become a National Racing driver competing in one of the most competitive championships in the world – The Clio Cup Championship. The Clio Cup Scholarship follows the competition as 200 hopefuls battle it out for the much coveted prize of a full season racing in the Clio Cup, which supports the British Touring Car Championship. The cameras then follow the winner throughout the 2007 season finding out what goes on behind the scenes at the BTCC meetings. The 2007 shows will be broadcast on Men and Motors from September for 12 weeks.

Marc Nelson, Joint Managing Director of Double Six Racing and founder of the Clio Cup Scholarship, comments "This is fantastic news! We are really excited about showing what goes on in the scholarship, and also what it takes to compete in the Clio Cup championship. We started the scholarship on the basis of providing an opportunity for people who may be very good drivers but may not be able to fund the racing themselves. Furthermore we want to promote the winner as much as possible during the season - the coverage on Men and Motors will help with this enormously."

“We really look forward to supporting the Clio Cup Scholarship on Men and Motors. Driving is an expensive pursuit, and so it’s great to see drivers being encouraged in this way. This is something both exciting and inspiring for our viewers.”, added Ingrid Stone, Men and Motors Channel Editor.

Even more great news! The 2008 Clio Cup Scholarship and behind the scenes shows will also be screened on Men and Motors, broadcasting from early 2008. Entries are still being taken for the scholarship which commences in October this year. For your chance to live in the fast lane and win a place on the 2008 Clio Cup grid visit the www.RacingScholarship.com web site where you will find all the details for the scholarship.

We may even see you on the Men and Motors TV programme!
