2008 Racing Scholarship
Double Six Racing Scholarship Details
The
Double Six Racing Scholarship is open to everyone 17 years of age and over, except MSA 'A' car race licence holders or above, regardless of gender or background. National 'B' car race licence holders must not have competed in more than 6 races. The only requirement is that you have a real desire to become a Clio Cup Race driver, competing with a professional and successful team.
Opportunities to be part of the British Touring Car paddock do not come around very often. The winner will race in the 2008 Clio Cup national championship, with a view to impressing the many team owners and managers in the paddock.
All the equipment you need to participate in the Double Six Racing Scholarship is provided for you.
The scholarship is organised into two rounds, a semi-final and a final.
Each round is monitored by our instructors who will provide a detailed analysis of how well you drove throughout the round. Within three weeks of the first two rounds you will be notified if you are successful in moving to the next stage. You will be informed at the end of the day of the semi-final if you have made it through to the final.
The winner of the 2008 Double Six Racing Scholarship will be selected at the end of the Final day by a panel of judges.
